You can set the license used by an instance of FusionReactor in the fusionreactor/<instance_name>/conf/reactor.conf file of the instance.

This method can be used if you cannot use the default FusionReactor directory structure or you don't want to share the license with other instances on the same machine and can be very useful for auto deploy and auto scaling environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and OpenShift.

Note that FusionReactor will use this method as a fall back solution if it cannot write to the fusionreactor/license/license.key file

Example:

license.key=AB1DE-FGHI2-K3MNO-PQRS4-WXYZ5
...

If you set the license like this then the license can be changed using the About page, but it will only affect the instance where the license key is entered.
